AAA’s SUVs and Sedans are generally equipped with
ballistic protection level B4 or level B6, as per request.
Most other ballistic protection levels could be provided
upon request.
Transparent Armor:
Our vehicles are armored using Ballistic glass manufactured
by leading manufacturers of ballistic transparencies. meeting
the protection level and tint required.
Opaque Armor:
The highest quality high strength steel, ballistic aluminum,
composites and ceramics are used in the manufacture of the
opaque armor.
Roof:
The ceiling is protected by an opaque armor, covered by
a headliner that replicates the fit and finish of the original
vehicle.
Floor:
The floor is protected by opaque armor of High Strength
Steel or composite materials that meet the vertical opaque
armor, providing protection against anti-personnel grenades.
Doors:
Our armored vehicles have reinforced door hinges that completely
avoid hinge failure and prevent sheet metal fatigue around
the hinge system.
Firewall
An armored wall between engine and passenger compartment,
protecting our vehicles at the firewall and overlapping
at the windshield.
Bulkhead:
A bulkhead wall with a ballistic window behind the rear
seat is an available option for some SUVs. This wall provides
superior protection to the passengers when the rear hatch/lift
gate is opened.
The option may also include a ventilation overpressure system
to provide filtered air in the event of a chemical attack.
